Mapping Yelamu's Historical Landscape

Jonathan Cordero is working to write an ethnohistory of the Yelamu, the original peoples of what is now the City of San Francisco, and to create a map of the historical landscape, including Native trails. The map will incorporate research from multiple sources to identify the original topographical features, watersheds, and shorelines prior to Spanish arrival.

Mapping Villages and Trails in Our Tribal Territory

Staff of the Association of Ramaytush Ohlone are working to create an official map of village locations and the primary trail network within our tribal territory.
